AIR AND WATER

TZS Design completed the lobby design for 474 N. Lake Shore Drive, a 60 story condo building in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago. We incorporated finishes, fixtures and furniture to accommodate heavy foot traffic. Art was inspired by air and water due to the proximity of the building to Lake Michigan. The existing lobby had some acoustical issues with too many hard surfaces. We addressed these concerns by integrating walk-off mats, rugs, acoustical wall panels, and acoustic artwork to enhance sound absorption while maintaining a tailored aesthetic.
